Looks like it will be pivotal as there are quite a few contracts coming to an end.



Whilst great servants, apart from Schar I’d not be too upset if all of those players were let go, with thanks for all they have done.

 

Losing Gillespie would be criminal

 

Be very interesting to see who we do keep. I’m with you. Keep Schar.

I would keep Lascelles aswell. But I’m sure a lot won’t.

 

I’d keep Krafth assuming he stays fit for the remainder of the season

 

That's a lot to replace though. If they all go for nowt at end of contract, we won't be able to afford that many replacements. Especially not to 'upgrade' them. Can see maybe 3 of them being offered extensions ad squaf cover.

 

We’ll need to keep a lot of those off we qualify for a European competition to meet quotas

 

I can see Schar, Laecelles and Karius all getting 1 year extensions as we move them to back up.

Ritchie, Dummett, Krafth and Manq are living on borrowed time now though and will be put the door.

 

I think Krafth is decent for squad cover, he was just unlucky to have such a long-term injury.

 

Dummett will get a contract due to HG status
