If TF is trying to prove a point he's really going about it in a strange way. Anyone with the least modicum of football nous could see from early on this season (Spurs & Man U) that we were a defensive shambles, courtesy of a formation entirely for the benefit of Rio, Harry's pet signing.

When that went tits-up we had no proper right back and a novice left back with a veteran to cover when injured. An ancient centre back past his prime and two others that always look uneasy. Is it any wonder we concede every game?

Midfield had been unbalanced all last season, little width and when wingers were employed they were useless, no creativity and always giving the ball away, more of the same all this season.

Upfront Charlie has saved us time and again with occasional help from OBZ but little support otherwise. But for his goals we'd be down with the League One also-rans.

All Harry's summer signings have been underwhelming with Rio the sickest joke of the lot. Why has TF not sacked Harry? Probably he was so desperate to get him as Manager two years ago that there's a very expensive exit clause in his contract. If that's not the case then TF has just committed Premier League suicide because we are now nailed-on to finish bottom again and I'd put a fair wad on us finishing with 0 points away from home.

One of the radio pundits yesterday said there is something seriously wrong at QPR that just hasn't gone away and now I'm getting an uneasy feeling that perhaps TF has been bull-sh*tting us and he's financially in the mire himself. Whatever the explanation our failure to address the obvious problems leaves us looking doomed and the consequences of the drop don't bear thinking about, TF knows that all too well...

Looks like we're fooked to not strengthen & give ourselves a chance is plain suicide..

On the plus side I hope this season proves a catalyst for change - HR will be going & I won't object if TF decides to go either, I'd like to support a club that properly run not put up with the current shambles.

Mmm.........................I tend to agree Sooper, but most on here were saying that we shouldn't give in to big wage demands etc any more. Maybe, all our targets were demanding too much and TF and Co didn't want to pay.
Having said that, I wasn't one of these people and I would have broken the bank to get Defoe. Watch him score a lot of goals at Sunderland!

TF's biggest mistake was not seeing what the rest of us have; that Harry has lost his mojo and just isn't the same force that he undeniably once was.
I can understand his reluctance though. Only last night a mate of mine couldn't believe that I was slagging Redknapp off. People still see the same Manager from his heyday at Spurs. I hear people saying all the time that "surely Harry will keep you up". That spirit has left him and he is taking us down.

Same thing Col, I do some work for a chap who's a Man City fan and every time I see him he tells me that "Harry will keep you up" and "Harry's a good manager" and I've been telling him for the last year that he's not and that he got lucky last season......People just have this memory of him from a few years ago and his public persona.

In a way I'm pleased that TF didn't give Harold more stupid money as he has already frittered away so much over the last 3 years that he now has to stand or fall on what he's got. As far as I'm concerned he finally lost the plot with buying Rio Bloody Ferdinand when the world and his wife knew he was finished.

In a way, I am quite pleased that we didn't get any quick-fix players in. The squad that we have should be good enough to finish above Leicester, Hull, Burnley and Villa. Now these players (and Harry) have a chance to prove it.

It's pretty obvious that the board have had enough of Redknapp's mismanagement, but baffling as to why he has not been sacked.
