I wasnât going to post this yet due to recent events but as there is tumbleweed blowing through the forum tonight I will give a brief (sighs of relief all round!) summary of the success polls. This season â over 75% think that purely survival would be success 2013/14 â 45% think that 12th â 16th would be success, more including a cup run than not. The remaining 55% split pretty evenly between survival and a higher place in the league. 2015/16 â over 50% think the bar will have been raised to 6th â 11th, with almost 25% think that we should regard European qualification as the minimum level for success. I expected the gradual raising of the target, it would be wrong not to, but to qualify for Europe through the league, that would require a massive investment. The sides competing for those places are far bigger spenders than us. Maybe your thoughts have changed in the last 2 days ....
how many go into europe these days its about 8 teams now isnt it so through the league is not an impossibility
Roller, I know I didn't post or vote in the polls - for me, success for the next 2 seasons will be 17th or above - thanks for the hard work / blind plugging of buttons into a calculator on the poll
