Hi Guys, New poster so please be nice!

I really feel Cp is being far to cautious with our subs bench! with the new 5 sub ruling for this season mangers are really gonna have to earn there money by picking the right bench for the game especially at home!

last night we played a good first half but run out of ideas second and really need fresh pacey players to come on and change the game for us. Granted Green was out but Bover could have got a chance to make a 75min impact or even Evina

    Subs v Sheff wed
    1 GK sullivan
    1 Defenders Cort
    1 midfielder/Defender Hughes
    1 midfielder Pritchard
    1 forward/Midfielder Euell

    I would have gone with
    sullivan
    Hughes (CM,defender)
    Euell (Midfield, CF)
    Evina (LB. LW)
Bover Wing, CF (Green if fit)

    Be nice

Welcome SA! I'm confused by the Hughes sub.. See pros and cons but for home games I would have preferred another attacking option.

That said, I think had green been fit he would have started and the bench would have been sulli, cort, pritchard, waggy, euell.

Also not sure nicer against Sheffield weds would have been the right move, but an evina could have been a better move for the wing.

I agree with all the original post except that I'd have Hamer on the bench and Sulli in goal. Probably Cort instead of Hughes since JJ can play LB and Waggy has filled inat RB in an emergency.

Super, I have to agree with SA as I think Bover would have been a more attacking option on the bench since he can play on the wing as well as central and even work up to a striker. That said I would have played Waggy instead of Hayes had Green been fit.

More than a justified point SVC- I just wondered if he would be too lightweight seeming to verdict after reading was he needed to bulk up a bit.

Agree but at home we need to be putting positive teams out as well as subs that can change the game from the bench! I'd think we had that last night!

And with the 5 sub rule the options from the bench will be all important as the season continues!

Another good option could be Alonso when he finally finds his football boots!

Alonso will be a big, big player when he comes back from the dead. As will Danny green. Still enough to keep optimistic with.

As the ever optimistic unless I've missed something somewhere I already have major doubts over whether we'll ever see Alonso, it's too dead silent, there is nothing except him showing up on sky.

Surely Pritchard was the obvious option, we had nothing out of Stephens(who I think will be a very important player for us) last night and you could see that at the hour mark, we don't know if Pritchard would have changed that, but he ran it single handed by the scruff against reading and we won't know if he can do that when it matters unless we give him the time and chance to do that. Best value signing this summer(and my name was expected to be a bit of a joke, so it's not namely bias)
