I wonder what people like Bob Paisley, Bill Shankley and Kenny Dalglish would make of this latest disgrace.

The man is just a horrible human being and a liability to Liverpool FC. Souness, Redknapp and the Liverpool fans have all said the same. There is no defence for this and good on all of them for saying it too. I would be ashamed if any Swans player behaved like this.

Thankfully we do not have any racist cheaters at our club and I hope we never do.

It's tiring all the justification being thrown around:
    * So-in-so did something worse - well, two wrongs don't make a right. Defoe should have been heavily fined and banned, letting Suarez off it doesn't fix that. McManaman should hae been heavily banned but he wasn't, making another mistake doesn't fix that.
    * Suarez is being bullied because he is playing for Liverpool - Chelsea players get away with it all the time (like John Terry losing the England Captaincy?) but Man U players do (like Cantona and Ferdinand and their lengthy bans?). So Suarez has been singled out at Liverpool, like Sterling for his offensive tweet (um, he.. no)... like the other foreign players at Liverpool (Um, no problems with any of them).
    * It wouldn't cause as much damage as a two-footed challeneg - but at least that happens in the natural way that a game is played...

So really, people jump all over him because of all the various ways he embarrasses the club he plays for. Because this isn't first, second or third offence. The way he was found guilty of racially abusing another player and then took offence at it and refused to shake Evra's hand. In so many ways he sums up what people don't like about footballers and fans who defend him sum up what some people hate about football.

why would they care.......If Its proven that he bit the player then he will be punished for it and if its not proven then its hear say.....He is still one of the best strikers in the premiership by far and someone i would bite the arm off for to play for us....all his warts and all.....

If he bit him ?? Are you serious Dai ??

This is off the BBC website,

"Reds manager Brendan Rodgers, in a statement released by Liverpool later on Sunday, said: "Having reviewed the video footage and spoken to Luis, his behaviour is unacceptable and I have made him aware of this."
Blues defender Ivanovic, 29, complained to referee Kevin Friend that he had been bitten on his right arm by Suarez after their clash inside the Chelsea penalty area.
Ian Ayre, the Premier League club's managing director, added Suarez's behaviour did not "befit" that of a Liverpool player.
"Luis is aware that he has let himself and everyone associated with the club down," said Ayre, who cancelled a planned trip to Australia to personally handle the fallout.
"We will deal with the matter internally and await any action from the Football Association."
Shortly after the match, Rodgers had said no individual was "bigger than the club" after pledging to review the incident.
"This is a club with incredible values and ethics," he said. "There's certainly no-one bigger than this club, a player or manager.
"As football managers, staff and players, we're representing this club, off the field and in particular on the field."

No ifs and buts he did it and it looks like Liverpool FC aren't very happy about it.

there's nothing to be envious of suarez for, he's a racist and a cheat. I don;t believe for one second that he "loses it" or has any temporary leave of his senses in the heart of battle, he is a very calculated snide cheat. Watch how many times he will bring his studs down on an opposition players' achilles, trying to make it look accidental.
He actually puts a lot of effort into cheating and I for one would never want our club to be associated with him regardless of his talent.
Sounds like Dai is very reluctant to condemn him, even for being a proven racist, that wasn;t you who got arrested at the home game v Norwich was it Dai??

Personally, i think Suarez can be / is a problem, clearly; but clearly he is also one hell of a forward ... I'd have him on my team, and deal with the problems as they happen.

The incident reminded me of the Dracula spoof movie,"Love at first bite",with George Hamilton in sublime form as the Count himself. There's a clip of him dancing with Susan St. George on u tube. Worth having a look if you haven't seen it.
