I hear, even over in this desolate continent, that he may receive a 2 year ban and that the Liverpool board are having a meeting to sack him.
Hmmm.... bearing in mind that FIFA can only ban him from International duty I'd seriously doubt that but you never know. Reading their board it seems like a lot of fans want rid.
fair point there Dragon, may have been a 2 year ban from inters but Liverpool want to get rid, reports were changing by the hour, actually I did here a comment that Real would still buy him, all too confusing
What a ****ing psycho ......... wonder if his eyes roll when the jaws close ...I really don't care how good he is , he needs to banned from sport ..... period
Not just all football, but all football-related activity. He's not allowed to train with LFC that means. He'll miss pre-season completely. I wonder how Brendan Rodgers will manage that from a tactical perspective.
So he misses less games for Liverpool than he did last time? Pathetic. Should have been a min 12 month ban from all football imo.
The appeal hasn't gone in yet and with his "human rights " to consider I don't think this is the end of the matter
It will be cut down, I do feel a bit sorry for liverpool who have to pay him for something he did in an international match. But they didnt exactly cover themselves in glory the last time it happened, what goes around comes around i suppose. There were still Liverpool fans backing him again today. I agree the ban should have been for at least a season. After appeal this ban will be reduced, as it stands he misses 13 games for Liverpool. that is bound to be reduced. Just wish the Fa could do something for bringing our game into disrepute. Hope we never see him play on these shores again.
If he appeals and loses which I think he would, I hope that FIFA extend the ban. FIFA have said that the ban starts when Uruguay play Saturday but Suarez has three days to consider appealing. Does that mean he can lodge an appeal at the last minute Saturday and still play?
Not sure but I think Uruguay are well aware that FIFA can actually extend the ban on appeal too. There has been no contrition here remember - no credit for a guilty plea. The guy has denied it all along and in fact feigned injury to try and get out of it. If there's any justice it'll be increased substantially.
