Yeah,i mean how would Evra came out of that looking like mr clean.

I suppose the mancs could say Rio took one for the club.

But John Henry is supposedly over here to chastise those who felt the need to apologise, cant personally see any heads rolling just stern warnings as to future behavior.

From what I've seen we are yet to see the best of him. I agree that we need someone alongside him, a top quality striker is a must in the Summer. I don't think we need to buy many players just 1 or 2.

  3. Call me crazy but, I'd have thought he was coming over because there is a FA Cup game at the weekend followed by the derby game and then a League Cup final later in the month. I am sure Suarez will get to meet with the principle owner at some point though!

If they are business men they will come out very quickly and say that Suarez is not going anywhere. If he thinks he is not wanted or other clubs think that we want rid of him then he will go on the cheap which makes no business sense whatsoever. What Suarez needs is some positive PR. A week or two out at Bellamys Soccer school should do it, with lots of photos.
I dont think Suarez will be sold this summer unless omeone comes in with a massive bid for the guy as they will not want to make a loss on a player who we really should be making profit out of.
I think whatever happens is going to be down to what Suarez does next!!!

Are we still playing the BS? I thought it was moved back because of the CC final?

  8. Good spot. I only looked at the fixture list on the Liverpool website, didn't notice the date had been replaced with 'postponed'.

Just a thought. But if the rumour of Suarez leaving in the summer is true, would LFC be reluctant to play him week in/week out?

If it were true, his level of performances will play a significant part in the transfer fee i.e. if he plays well, the price will go up.

It would be very silly of us not to play Luis Suarez.

  11. And lets face it, his value couldn't go down much more than at present anyway...

We should ask Bluff what they use over the pond when they want to dispurse a crowd, since we have the Riot Act.

Incidentally, I've been at a Pub when the local Inspector came by with riot vans and mounted plods, and read the Riot Act - the git ordered us to leave our pints and go home! Fair annoyed about that. Just because some fans were stopping the cars and buses in the road to drag occupants out for a dance...

    England's 4-1 over Holland in Euro '96...<laugh>
