Dont think his market value is £35m. Should be around £45m.

I'll assume that you're joking here.
Why would we ever take back Torres?

As I said earlier, we should only ever sell if we think we can improve. How would we improve on the most potent strike force around at the moment?

If Bale is worth £100m, then Sturridge starting price should be no different. Precedents have been set and we are not a feeder club.

I would love for him to stay and I don't think he would leave to go back to Chelsea (if there is in fact any truth to talkshites ****e-talking) but who knows what the lure of an extra £50k or £100k a week will play on his mind.

Bale is a much better player than Sturridge. Plus he is an unique player with a massive reputation in Europe after his performances last season in the premier league and his performances for Spurs in the CL. He was also the star of the Spurs team, Sturridge is just part of the Suarez supporting act. I am not sure in what way they are comparable. And even if they were similar we'd never get the same amount of money for him.

Chelsea's mafia machine are inserting false stories in the papers to try to destabilise.

Shows Mourinho doesn't know talent when it slaps him in the face with a wet trout.

He only buys players that are already being made famous elsewhere. When has he ever taken a chance on a no-name anywhere (that another club wasn't already trying to sign).

  11. TBF, wasn't it Mourinho in charge when Chelsea signed him? And then they sold him whilst Jose wasn't there? Not sure how you can point at Mourinho here

Lazy lazy journalism. How many times have we been on the verge of resigning Torres in the last few years according to the tabloids? The press love churning out the former club coming back for ex-player story. It writes itself.

It would be Mourinho signing him this summer wouldn't it? After he is now well known for being good.
