Did anyone else have him as a commentator? I am getting so sick of him, everytime he commentates for Arsenal on TV, it's like he overtly goes out of his way to be anti-Arsenal and very negative against us! He kept slagging our players for going down too easily, for example on Baloteli's sending off, he said Sagna was making a meal of it, and he kept slagging DoSantos off. You get more common sense from GARY NEVILE when he commentates for Arsenal.
He's the same guy that does talking tactics on the Arsenal Website and on that he's excellent, very insightful However I have to agree today he seemed uneccessarily anti-Arsenal. I couldn't beleive how much he raved about Clichy !?!?! The guy was a total liability in his final years at the club
It was great to see Clichy doing the stupid things for City that he did for Arsenal. Good riddance to that guy. I'm sure we all noticed the huge amount of space down the right-side after about 60 minutes: that was Clichy being a dumbass and covering the centre-backs again. Cost us so many goals doing that.
He was basically talking a lot of bollocks today. He said that our players go down too easily and try to get other players booked ! WTF ? He singled out Sagna in particular for this when Balotelli was hacking him down all day - and he whined about Rosicky 'screaming and rolling around' when he got fouled. His praise for Clichy sounded badly misplaced and as was pointed out in this thread, the reason Sagna got so much space down the right, was because Clichy went ****ing missing, like he did for us so often. Bit of twat is Robson.
STuart Robson was slagging off Wenger for bringing back Henry, saying it'l;l end in disaster and destroy team morale. Well, it didn;'t, an d it seems that having Henry around helped to get the squad to put in some performances and a great run of results.
