Bristol I don't think I ever had a discussion with anyone regarding Flitney as palyer of the season!!! You make some good points and I do understand your position but I can't agree with it. A massive part about 'keeping is the understanding and organisation of the back four, now we all sure how chaotic we were at the back sometimes last season and each player including the keeper needs to take part of the blame alongside the tactics. Now Flitney hasn't spent a lot of time training with squad season, what with being injuried or on loan. whereas Forecast has been regualrly training with the squad. I understand peoples fear about Forecast, considering the less than favourable reviews from other teams but why would we bring in cover which is significantly worse than what we have? As you said he is an unknown but that doesn't have to mean he is rubbish. Anyway seeing as neither of us picks the side, we'll have to see who has the jersey come saturday
