I KNOW IN KNOW BARTON but I like him

If all fit whot would you play

    Zam & Cisse

    Daikite - to drive
Faurlin - to split defenses & create
    & Barton -tidy
    Plus Hoilett for me

    leaving

Taraabt & Park on the bench for midfield
Johnson and HH on the bench up front
Mackie running around a lot waving at the fans covering both

    Defence
    Da Silva
    Ferdinand
    Onuaha
    Traore

    Nelson & Clint as backup

    Green
    Cerny as backup

This leaves a stong Carling cup team as well

We need to sell before we go bust!

Can't believe you'd leave Hill out. I would go with him because he proves himself on a regular basis, even though he rarely finds his way into a big news article.

Let me see. I'd go with:

    Cisse

    Taarabt Diakite Faurlin Park Mackie

    Fabio Hill Ferdinand Onuoha

    Green

Bench: Helguson, Zamora, SWP, Cenry, Traore, Nelson, Barton.

I have a gut feeling that Taarabt is going to be special this season.

IMO put Fabio RB, Traore LB and Onouha as CB.

Cripes, I almost forgot about him!! Now that throws a spanner in the works.

With that said, I think he should earn his right and not simply push a longer serving player out immediately unless that longer serving player is someone we have aimed to replace.

With 7 new players added to the squad so far, I would imagine quite a few of our longer serving players will be pushed out. Thats what happens when you strengthen the squad.

Basing on the fact Barton being banned for the first 12, i'd go something like this:

    Green
    Silva Onouha Ferdy Hill
    Diakite Faurlin
    Park Taarabt Hoilett
    Cisse

The defence is still a tough one (I even changed it a few times just writing this) and I think alot of people's back 4's will look different. To me, this just highlights that it does need strenthening to a degree that, on paper at least it almost picks itself.

Just my 2 bob of course.

    Green

    Onuha
    Nelson
    Ferdinand
    Fabio

    Hoillet
    Faurlin
    Diakite
    Park

    Cisse
    Zamora

For me that is the strongest team, but it won't be the one that starts as faurlin and nelson won't be ready , might see park play central and tarbs come in vs swansea , and hill will play instead of nelson.

Compare that to the team that played wigan away on the 3rd game of the season. Prob worst team we fielded last year and looked so out of their depth against a poor wigan side.

    Kenny

    Perone
    Gabbidon
    Hall
    Connolly

    Derry
    Faurlin
    Tarbs
    Buzz
    smith

    Ageymang

    subs

    Murphy
    hewiitt
    harriman
    HH
    Ephraim
    betty
    andrade

    Big difference.

Like it but what about Faurlin... I think i would probably put him in for Park, move Park to the right and poor old Jamie becomes our super sub (David Fairclough mkII)

Also in some games we may need a target man for Cisse to play off i.e. Zamora, how do we accommodate one less midfielder, do we have to go for the old hat 4-4-2?

Would also like Samba in there as well mate!

Chaps all good shouts Re potential team selections- I know I keep going on about it but Green worries me.........
Feel free to shoot me down in flames after he keep 7 clean sheets in a row and not a single clanger in site.....
But he has his "moments of madness"..

Pretty much all goalies have their moments mate - its done now, he ours so you may as well get behind him don't you think, if it makes you happy you can come back here and say told you so. lets hope we score enough goals this season that our defense is a bit less under pressure.

Cannock - I'm behind him 100% mate as he is a QPR player - I just feel its not a massive improvement from Kenny (IMO) I think the other deals have been significant improvements in the areas needed.
I agree I think we will score more goals this season - but don't want to win games 5-4, great for the neutral but not a fan - I think the defence will help him and continue to steady the "good ship" QPR 

Can't really argue with you there, hopefully he will be slightly less flappy on crosses, lets just hope 'less flappy' doesn't translate into 'more droppy'...
