Right the strikers is the only part of the side which is setting the team down now. Nugent is class but has no support. Waghorn and Vassell are crap while Sven dont like Howard's style so he wont play him. Schlupp isnt ready yet and we are crying out for a striker. In recent week we have tried to get Shane Long and Robbie Keane only for them to go elsewhere. We had a bid rejected for Jermaine Beckford but we might go back in with a bigger bid. Bert has said on twitter Yak could be returning on loan and we are after Santa Cruz. Keith Millen said we discussed Maynard with them after the game and we are still interested in him. We either need to stop pissing around with Maynard. Either bid 5.5-6M or leave him alone, its not fair on our current strikers, their club or Maynard himself. This is getting dragged on, we either need to put up or shut up. If we could get Maynard and Yak on loan then that would be quality. So what other strikers are left, apart from abroad there isnt alot out there
Considering Sven has this obsession with playing strikers and midfielders out wide, I'd suggest wingers are far more important. Waggy, Vassell, Danns. It's just wrong. Don't get me wrong we do need another striker, Nugent's good and will get goals but we need more. But no striker will score enough for us at the moment. We are giving Nugent no service and we wouldn't give the Yak or Santa Cruz any either. A winger or 2 would at least give us the players to create chances. Whether it's 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 we need at least one.

If we did get both all the wums would soon disappear. To be truthful though i dont wont both. I would prefer Yak or the 2 but Sants Cruz would be good
