We do not need another striker it is a midfielder that we need, central midfield that is.

Agreed there but when Cody goes back were going to be short again and Keds and Burton don't seem to be hitting the back of the net regular enough so imho we need a goalscorer

Got nothing to do with the strikers the whole problem is the central midfield, no creativity, no spark,no vision, needs to be sorted ASAP!

You are quite right Hoadie - although I thought that we did have one striker that was able to cause a problem for their goalkeeper !
Seriously though, I'm getting a little fed up with all the hoofball that we're playing. If that is to be the way that we go, then we need to forget the midfield and deploy 4 up front.
Why have we changed from the passing style of football that brought so much success in the first dozen games?

We are definitely missing a creative spark going forward, Wycombe were well organised and we simply couldn't break them down. As we pushed forward more Wycombe successfully exploited the games we left at the back, a tactic we used to great affect earlier in the season.

Cody, for all the hype that proceeded him, needs the ball to be provided to him in the box, he simply can't create his own chances; the same can be said for Burton and Kedwell. I feel it is a creative midfielder we need, are we still looking at Gow?

I think it is hardly surprising that Cody hasn't managed to pepper the goal with chances like he did in his first spell, it's down to 2 simple things 1)Th elack of creative in centre midfield 2)The way we play.

We continuously hit it to the front 2 this season without ever mixing it up, it is so predictable. Ok so every now and then we give it to Weston on the left, who is doubled up on instantly because they know his dangers, anyone else notice their left winger busting a gut to get back whenever Myles got the ball, it completely neutralised him. When we lose the ball we all stop, and they are left with a 2 on 2 situation which they eventually scored from.

Does anyone remember us scoring a 1 on 1 this season? Because i literally can't remember one, i know Myles has fired a couple in from the edge of the box but im talking through ball 1 on 1's, like the 5 times they did last night and the 20 odd goals that Cody scored in his first spell for us were like. We simply do not do it and don't have the capabilities to mix things up, no plan B and no creativity.

We have a lot of work to do to get promoted now and people seem to forget that, i was not enthralled with MA's subs last night, they were all like for like, why not put Myles up top for 10 or 15 mins to get their defence thinking, instead he just changed personnell as opposed to how we were playing. My concerns over Allen's tactical nouse are growing by the day.

In regards to the idiot who ran on the pitch last night, you are a fool and have embarrassed our club. I doubt Sky will be down to Priestfield in a very long time and i don't blame them. Then again we are always shocking when we're on Sky so that may not be a bad thing!

Yeah if you look at it this way then it is simple we played nice football passing and moving with the ball on the ground at the start of the season and I remember us scoring around 14 goals in 4 games and only letting in one or two in them games however I think Wright was part of that team but then we should still have a team good enough as we were going fine before he come in but my problem is do we have the players to pass and move now Payne has gone I worry now that we are not strong enough and after last night Frampton proved that he was not upto it and that the last game was a one off good appearance, him and Gregory were useless so I would like to see more of Robinson who looked OK however he did not do much where we played the ball in the air so much.

Hoadie, with respect! Last night didnt prove that Frampton is useless! Last night proved that he should be in the team! First half Wycombe had one attempt at goal...35 yard shot!! Second half they cut through at will and that was down to Frampton being substituted!
