We're in the best position we've been in, in many years I don't know what has to happen to please some of you. We have already signed 3, there will be more on their way in, Rome wasn't built in a day just relax. I'm pretty sure there will be another in next week. That would make it 4. Agents / players are being picky at the moment, and getting the best possible deal for themself. Rightly so. This is the first season I've had optomism going into since 04/05. 2 years ago I bet on Forest coming top 3. Last season I fancied Norwich to do well. Avoided them outright due to them being rivals. This season, I actually think we'll be right in the mix. Just be patient.

TBH i would rather have the likes of Cresswell/Pearce/Green than Ellington and the linked Koumas. Chopra is not a bad signing but the guy comes with baggage and has been inconsistant of late, Ingimarsson is the best bit of business so far!! I would say that we haven't exactly set the world alight so far and need alot more quality to be able to mount a serious challenge. I was getting excited about the players linked but now we seem to be missing out, deary me indeed!!

I think CM is somewhere that really needs sorting but who we can get is a hard one!!
right CM we have huge issues with. you say Koumas 4 years of nothing ? better than Ellington 6 years of absolute garbage. Brown - scrapper - EXACTLY what we want as one of the two. Missed out on Derry, who let Taraabt play........ Them two wouldn't be a bad partnership with movement upfront and outwide. Chopra = quality signing, same with Ingarmarsson Ellington is a gamble. 2 cracking signings so far. More will be on the way

This isn't being negative but realistic. I don't have any faith in Clegg and can't see him improving, take the G Mac/Norris saga, insane to let these players go for nothing, bad business and seeing as he deals with all that side of things the buck stops with him!!
haha well you have your opinion and I'll have mine. Surely u must be happy with Chopra at £1.5 mil !? I think Ingarmarsson is a very good centre half ( when fit ). Unsure about Ellington. Hyam + Leadbitter would be fine from a defensive point of view for sure, however not the best going forwards or creativity wise. I'm a big fan of Hyam. Think he looks a great prospect, so see how he does this season. We'll have to see what happens over time Mr Spanish ! At least I'll agree we both want whats best for the club. UP THE TOWN !

Stratton What i meant was in general, not the two mentioned players as we have no chance now!! So basically, when we have a target, move quickly and don't wait for 10 other teams to put in offers. Sorry it was the way i put it!

I noticed yesterday there were no rumours on the transfer rumour site and also you had not been on here, busy day was it and no time for the computer!! To be honest though, some of the rumours were too strong to be just that and i do think we drag our heels to much, need to be more ruthless!!!
