I tried to buy tickets for the Stoke game when they came out and failed, even with a high number of Jack Army points. I took it that they had all sold out. Today after a call to the ticket office, I was told tickets were still on sale via Jack army site (which today I bought tickets) or by other normal methods of sale. So, if anyone else still needs tickets, there ae still some left. Is it me, or is the new Swans website worse than last years?
Jack, I have not renewed my Jack Army membership as first of all I don't get to see that many games anyway. After last years mess, I didn't get my £50 worth. I plan on going away to the usual fixtures that are too far away, Newcastle, Wigan etc.
Membership cost me £10 as I have a season ticket. Think people abused the flawed system last year by buying home tickets on their season ticket number on a regular basis. This gained those people lots of points. So, when it came to the big away games they were the ones who bought tickets whilst the regular away supporters could not purchase. I think the way points are awarded this year is better, it’s the system that’s crap, one minute tickets are gone, only to later reappear!!!
The website is poor to say the least, it doesn't work properly on my iPhone and my mate has problems on his galaxy. Neveroff has got the right idea, go to the long trips
btw does anyone have the issue on the ipod / iphone app where you go on 'view last post' and it says error or something? means that if you have a long thread with say over 13 pages you have to manually scroll through each and every post, and basically makes it unusable....
Swamp, I've got the free app, give that a go. Only problem is that if you get a pm sometimes it doesn't say who it's from and you have to look it up on the safari page
Sometimes, Musty. Me and the boy go to the game wife and daughter go shopping. Think the shopping is more expensive than the game. Went down for the Sunderland game had a good weekend, overnight stay and had a good chat with De Guzman in the hotel, he's a real a decent person. I keep going on about the distance for the Newcastle game, but still end up going every year.
