If Mills wants to be taken seriously as a footballer he won't choose Stokes high long ball style over Leicester's slick beautiful game and all footballers have total confidence in their own ability to make a difference, Mills is no different and will believe he can get us to the same promised land as Stoke
It all depends the way he looks at it. Wolves for example, are a lower midtable Championship team at best. They are not going anywhere, unless they go down. I think if we were to have talks with him that's one of the things we'd say. LCFC, under Sven and Top, could really go places - and I wouldn't rule out another MON style period (or even better hopefully). This is the Mercury style propaganda we need to use. 'Think longer term Matt, see the Leicester City vision'. So I could understand if he chose us over Wolves. On the other hand, I can't understand why he'd choose us over Stoke. I don't think he's bothered about the style of football they play, especially being a centre back, keeping it simple probably suits them better in general, even if they are decent footballers. They are an established Prem side at the moment. Our only hope is if the bid and the wages they offer is ****.
If we sign Mills then it'd be the first time ever that we'd sign someone who is really sought after. Sven, I'm asking you nicely, make this happen.
LORD DYER, bless you my son...........I have to model myself on somebody....it worked for clough - stringer............I used to do laying on of hands....until the magisrtates told me I couldn't anymore....I will pray for mills to do the sensible thing............
I am suprised lambretta bloke hasn't been on and offered as he usually likes to comment andhe also lives in that small fishing village up north?
Good praying folks, but I'm afraid our Lord has sent St Ledger down instead. At the moment I'm thinking John's some sort of antichrist
Im confident CMS and SSL will go through tomorrow....stringer hasn't said they are "nailed on"......a good sign...........
Hmm - So Wolves who won the championship followed by 2 seasons staying up in the Premier League are a Championship lower mid table team, where Leicester who finished Mid Table last season are not ?????. I want some of what your drinking....................
