That goal from the beast was good, I forgot how decent he was, It's a shame he was fat and smoked like a chimney.
There's a rugby club just past the ground where you can park up and use the bar. They do cheap food as well.
I'm in a dilemma for the Stoke game. My father in law, massive Man Utd supporter from Surrey, was given executive box tickets for their game against Sunderland as a gift for Christmas.. The Mrs has told him, without consulting me, I'll go with him. They're arriving on the 27th. Stoke is only 25 minutes away & the easiest game to get to for us. Which should it be, Man Utd with the FinL, collecting brownie points from the Mrs as well as getting a day out on the piss or Stoke amongst the mongs pissing off the Mrs, the MiL & the FinL? There is a third option I could get an emergency call out from work & do neither Stoke or Man Utd but can watch City on a stream at work without putting anybody's nose out.
Take your laptop, steam the city game from your box, enjoy the wonderful food and free beer and you've done well in every respect. Browny points off the Mrs - check Ate an excellent free meal - check Enjoyed as much free booze as you want - check Watched city play - check Avoided going to stoke on ****ing Trent - check Perfect.
Pretend you're online, tell them all to **** off, no one tells you what to do etc. Word of warning, you'll now have Castro banging on about how you're only allowed to do stuff if your missus lets you as a reply to every post you make.
Oh. Forgot to add, explain to your missus it would make you a plastic PLW tourist and the shame and ridicule you'll get on here will push you to the brink.
Haha, my FinL is a 6'4" Electrician/Builder, an ex boxer & an ex bouncer with hands like ****ing shovels. Even though he's now 64 I wouldn't dare tell him to **** off & I get on fine with him, he's alright.7 Castro, he can **** off he don't tell me what I can & can't do.
Nah I just copied & pasted it from treacley fingered Chazz's Harlepol thread. I did have Nutella for the first time ever tonight, sickly as ****. My fingers looked like I'd been itching my arse.
You don't need me or anyone else to tell you what is the right thing to do. Seriously, you aren't depriving City of any income so why not have a free day out. Though I would bet you would enjoy being at Stoke more. Luckily I don't have these dilemmas. Don't particularly get on with the in laws so even though father in law is another Man Utd fan with no connection to them I wouldn't be the one to accompany him.
We've only lost there twice since 2005- the year we went down from the premier league & last season. The rest have been draws and we've won 3-0.
Sounds like we should start a "Who does your father-in-law support?" thread. Or not (mine supports Slavia Prague btw).
