Looking on the bright side (i know its hard) at least after a couple of decent results, there can be no doubt in MM`s mind just how bad we really are, and what we desperately need to improve the team. The shocking scoreline today was second only to the dire dire performance we put in. The other bright side is, that if ME has promised MM a million if he saves us, then ME has got to give him the funds in January to strengthen the team. Also between now and January MM will have a more informed opinion of what players have the scope for improvement, and what players (henderson for one) have got to go sooner rather than later. So all in all i`m disapointed but not entirely surprised, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Still keeping the faith.
Me too, but we do need to find a steady first eleven instead of changing things every week. No team is going to win every week but that doesn't mean you have to change the personnel around constantly. I think it's one of our biggest downfalls, along with the fact we have too many loanees whose career won't be too badly affected were we to drop down a league.
Couldn't agree more on all points. There is light at the end of the tunnel it's just not that bright right now. Defence has been the major issue for 2 seasons now and stability there will help. Still looking for a decent keeper and I thought loach was that man. Another huge game coming up. If there all not already but we gotta be getting results against the other cellar dwellers.
6 points from 12......from the mess he has been left with unfortunatly this season is again about survival, 3 points on Saturday & we could be out of the bottom 3, progress.!
IMO you will more than likely stay up, there is so much **** this year at the bottom of the CCC. I believe this because although you are arguably the worst of the lot, historically you are jammy gits
