If I'm not mistaken that is more than our club's record transfer fee? Not an Andy Carroll level of ****-up but still... Every season I hope we're a bit more ambitious with our transfers, but ignoring that, there is no denying that Wenger gets the most out of his 'resources'. (Although Ferguson has probably one-upped him in that quality in recent seasons)
