Mouyo when he left was I agree one of our better playersand had improved so much, as for HUNT, top man and if he had stayed fit in our relegation season i still believe he would have made the difference, one thing you could never argue was the lads commitment, oh ... and he scored goals !

    Abso-bloody-exactly.

Incredibly overrated player, though he ran around and kicked people, which is what people like apparently.

He was also our top scorer ahead of all those other players Brown signed that you're such a big fan of.

Hunt was probably our best Brown signing in the Premier league. If he'd stayed fit, we wouldn't have got relegated. People saying Hunt was ****e,are you under the influence?

Was totally gutted when the Wolves came raiding and took Hunt and Mouyokolo from us.

This is one of the very rare occasions I agree with TWF. I said it at the time, it's not hindsight, he wasnt exactly ****e but he was massively overrated. He had no discernible skill, he often ran into blind alleys and he couldnt cross but all this was overlooked cos he ran around like an idiot, was a top bloke, tried his knackers off every game and popped up in the right place a lot to get a tap-in. He really was like Craig ***an but with an eye for goal.

People keep saying we wouldve stayed up with him fit but hasnt every team he's ever played for in the top flight been relegated? If so where do people draw this conclusion from?

Mouyokolo was great for us before Wolves came in for him. Looked as though he had a promising future ahead of him. If he's free, I'd take him back definitely.

Stephen Hunt was a great player, could have been better at taking a man on and crossing, but he showed determination and passion to try and get us out of the relegation scrap which is all fans can ask for. To run your heart out and do your best.

That's the classic line I have heard from so many fans over the years and then Ive seen the very same fans give Paul McShane horrific abuse. Work than one out.

All I've seen from fans this year is praise for McShane?

In previous years, that line didn't apply to him because he started matches and didn't need to fight for a place. He made lots of mistakes and just seemed like a liability. This Season, he's different and seems more determined and confident.

It's very rare you see people hurl abuse at him, it's more just the fact that he's on high wages. If he took a pay cut, and was on a par with the rest of the side, there'd be no complaints.

Yeah - this year and that's the first time. Has he been with us nearly 4 years now? You cannot deny that McShane has had terrible abuse over the previous 3years, some of the very worst Ive heard, and it is this hypocrisy from those that say all they want is passion and effort that miffs me.

It's not quite the same thing with Mcshane, people go on about mistakes in his game because of his lack of technique and pace. Hunt was a different kind of player.

I thought when we initially signed him on loan he was very good, but after his recall he never really showed it as much, maybe SB is getting the best out of him now by some form of magic man management? Hopefully Stewart will be reformed by this MMM.

Hunts goal at Chelsea start of our second season was quality, the game only ruined by a lucky cross from Droghba.
I agree if he hadn't been injured for our second season we could have stayed up.

Hunt was brilliant in that game and it was one of those off games where you left feeling like you'd won, even though you hadn't.

I was in such a good mood, I bought myself a new shirt on the Kings Road after the game.

Based on him being our top scorer and caring more than most of the talentless ****ers we were overpaying at the time.

If people think Hunt was that bad what do they think of some of our other signings of that time ? He was actually one of our better players
