TRANSFER ODDS Steven Caulker has been backed to join Crystal Palace, as news they might hijack his move to QPR came out. He’s 5/2 to join the Eagles, coming in from 16/1. He’s still 1/3 to join QPR. Check out all our transfer specials. Just saw this on sky, hope we wrapped up the transfer soon!
The longer he stalls, the less hopeful I am This deal could have been done by now if he genuinely wanted to join
But they haven't had a bid for him accepted yet, we are the only ones who have put in a bid! Unless he's on holiday I would give him 24/48 hours to make his mind up.
Apparently Cardiff have offered him more money to stay and he has returned to us asking for more money!
Thats what my view is. If players come back asking for more money then they are only coming here for the money. We want players who want to play for QPR.
Just noticed this on a list of famous Cardiff City fans. "Rolf Harris The ever green painter, singer, silly noise maker, wobble board exponent & general renaissance man, was in fact born in Roath. His father's paintings hang in the museum, or civic center, or somewhere in central Cardiff. My theory for Rolf's Bluebirdyness firstly stems from these roots & secondly, if you were ask Rolf "Do you like Cardiff City?" Rolf being the all-round nice uncle type would say "Yes I do." You can bet your boobies." OOOPS!
So they're a bunch of kiddie fiddlers as well as a bunch of sheep shaggers. lol. I'd better watch myself or Vanessa will come and sit on me Aghhhhh.
QPR set to double defender's wages Jul 08, 2014 By Paul Warburton QPR are set to double Steven Caulker’s wages and make doubly sure they capture the £9million central defender. The Cardiff City player is believed to be on something close to a flat £20,000-a-week in Wales, but with bonuses, the 22-year-old could pocket the same again if he makes the switch to Loftus Road. Crystal Palace are also reported to be interested in the centre-back who first caught he eye of Rs boss Harry Redknapp when both at Tottenham together. But Rangers will win the signing war when they trigger the clause in west London born Caulker’s contract that allows him to add to impressive displays where he missed not a single minute in last season's doomed campaign for City. http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/qpr-set-double-defenders-wages-7389843
So were offering 40k including bonuses which will be app, goals and clean sheets. He will have earned his 40k if he gets a goal and clean sheet every week. His real wages could be 25-30k but then that doesn't make a good story.
