Something I've wondered for a while now, and if some could enlighten me please, if Steve Tilson is certain to be our next manager (as some seem pretty certain he will), why the delay in announcing it? Wasn't he sacked in October from his previous position?
Gemini - depends how far down the list of candidates he is, by the time you have dealt with all the no's you eventually get the yes to announce! That is what is seriously worrying me at this moment in time.

Yes I work nights. 7 on 7 off, 80 hours one week and none the next. Get plenty of time to "think" during "silent" hours in a hospital. But thank you for your concern Always. The only way I can see that Tilson would be appointed is if he is the 5th or 6th choice and every one else has said no tbh but many people seem to be very sure that he will be the man to take charge of the Gills and I was wondering if they are so certain wthen why the delay in announcing him? Granted, things didnt work out at Lincoln, but most of the managers available have been sacked from their last job, thats why they are available. I appreciate Danny Spiller has just left the club, but he did say earlier in the week that Steve Tilson has great experience and he had heard loads of great things about him.
I'm not having a pop at Tilson in any way. Should he get the job he will have my backing 100%. I just wish to know why, if it is Mr. Tilson, wait so long to announce it? Surely he is available for immediate employment?
i would say you have without doubt answered that question for yourself geminiswift with your last comment. if he were available, he'd have been announced by now...it's all hot air baloney regards tilson and whoever else...no one knows anymore than the next man !
as you've said its simple hes not scallys choice atm, whether thats hes not decided or tilson is lower on the list in terms of who gets offered the job first.
