Like him or hate him he has done a good job getting bully to extend his contract.I have been having a conversation on bbc 606 about it and our fans seem to be split on whether hayes is right or wrong on this due to the fact we are in so much debt.we cant have it both ways we all want good players at our club but we also dont want wwfc getting more in debt.
I just wonder how much he's had to do with Bully extending his contract - guess it depends on the wages they're on, if Bull hasn't taken a massive pay rise I don't have much to thank Hayes for specifically, more Waddock's doing really. On another note, it's nice to be on here, i think it's getting easier to use, I like the 'swearing' option!
hi jock ,as you know i am not a steve hayes fan and i am certainly not having a go at you i am merely stating my point of view.I think the whole steve hayes thing is dragging on now.if he had answerered the fans questions about the future of our club us the fans would be on his side but i smell a rat and we are getting deeper and deeper in debt and something has to give and unfortunately it looks bleak for wwfc we cannot sustain that amount of debt year in year out.on another note i agree with you about this site it seems perfect as a replacement for bbc606 but we need more fans posting on here to start to build it up to what we had before.
I think everyone knows by now that I am not atall in favour of this stadium at the current stage of not having been given any financial projections or proof that it can benefit WWFC. Hayes has continually been asked questions but is not giving the answers. it is encouraging to see the sensible stance of the trust and the Black & White Scarf campaign which makes good points and asks reasonable questions which we should know the answers to. We need to lend our support to these groups and raise awareness. On a final note, the not606 site seems very good and I am happy to continue using it, not sure how to get the friends list going though. Would be good to get to know some more fellow Chairboys, send me a message or request, and i'll try to work out how to use this site better!
