Didn't know that, but due to the number of games he's been sat on the bench Harper's only 25 years old.
Its like having a new car sat in the garage, the car ages but the miles on the clock don't move.

I'm not sure about the car analogy as Basso didnt play that much when he was younger and now seems like a clapped out old banger

    Somebody doesn't think so:

Hull City Check Out Toon Star

    By Nu Mad

According to reports this morning ...

... Steve Harper has been targeted by Championship promotion hopefuls Hull City.

Sources at the KC Stadium have confirmed that Nicky Barmby has been in touch with Newcastle to try to arrange a loan deal.

Harper had a loan stint at Brighton & Hove Albion earlier in the season but has been made No 2 to Tim Krul with appearances on the bench in recent weeks.

Don't expect the move to happen.

No chance of that if Brizzle are turning down potential transfer deals left right and centre.

I think Maynard is definitely going somewhere by the end of this TF.

You think they're going for a midfield of Smith, Bowyer, and Bullard for next week then?

If Bullard plays, any City player who goes into a crunching tackle with him gains legendary status

Good luck with that, closest we'll likely get is to have Harper pointing at him. Cairney vs Bullard in a 50:50 could be amusing though given the way Cairney has gone since we got relegated.

Is that how the Gillingham player got his ball sack ripped?
