Now I feel so stupid for having the occasion rant about Tony Pulis <doh>
Not that I feel sorry for Steve Bruce but, it puts things into perspective.

I understand what you are saying, but we only have 4 more points then them and they didnt spend any money in the summer - all their purchases were from the Henderson sale? I am not saying that I would want to be in Sunderland's shoes but I dont think we are in a much better position. It will be interesting to see who the appoint and whether they finish above us or not?

Quite right Smither's pts make prizes and so on.. 4pts at this stage of a season is nothing. But, too think they hammered us not so long back is even more frustrating for me. I asked my mates ... were Sunderland that good.. they said nope, we Stoke were just awful. funny ole game as they say.

How lucky for him - He lost his job on the last day of November knowing on the first day of December all department stores are looking for a big fat bloke with experience of wearing red & white!

and some circuses are looking for clowns with funny hats Any suggestions???

Great that I can watch on TV tonight Just hope we can pull it off They looked dangerous at home especially Schevchenko dspite his misses

Totally separately Respect to all who "bared their demons" in the recent thread We guys are normally too proud to do so but most of us have our problems Although a cliche there is always someome else worse off than yourself and so we are consoling ourselves with that despite our problems here in Spain where life is supposed to be a dream

Best wishes Nicky with your BA

    Classic <laugh><laugh>

S.I.S. ENJOY the game I'm lucky cos I purchased the four Euro ticket's together really looking forward to the game now.
P.S. I'll swap Spain for this cold/rainy city AFTER tonight of course. Just hope the crowd make some noise as we can qualify with a draw and/or a win would be really sweet.
Then, concentrate on the League and the final Europa game won't matter.

Thanks Potts Hope you all enjoy it Ironically despite all our problems here we would not move back to the UK but we would love to see again all of our old "haunts" in our beloved Stoke

    Regards
