My gut feel is that he is starting to get through to the players. Over the last few games i've sensed they have found that extra bit of grit and determination. Even self belief.. Maybe even resilience. They need to continue in this vein now. We're still only a win off 'safety' so there's still a lot to play for to stop us getting relegated.
There's been two or three times this season we've had the chance to make it into one we aren't just fighting relegation and we consistently don't take them (home to Villa followed by home to Everton may well be our undoing). We look good at times but aren't doing enough. If one of our current CB's get's injured then we're ****ed.
I agree. The lads looked like they had some self belief. They looked like they always felt that they could get back into the game, even after the late goal. A few months ago we would have folded, heads dropped, not looking for the ball etc after the second goal went in. I think that we really were awful last term and it is taking longer to get a consistent tune out of some pretty average players to be fair. I still think we have a good chance of going down though. Especially if we don't sign a striker.
They're al playing for moves because they don't want to play in the Championship when we get relegated
