Judgeing by whats been said on here and the report on the official site i`m in a minority re stephens performance..but wrote as I saw it...we shall see obviously I hope he`s a major success but I just didnt see that much of the brilliance yesterday that others raved about
He's not taking over from The Big Spaniard then Mike? I salute you for speaking as you find mate. That's the only way to be and nobody ought to knock you for that. All I'll say is that he's a young man who's a long way from home. It may therefore take him a little more time to settle in and find his feet.
I have only seen him for 45 minutes at Welling. Given th relative merit of the opposition, time of the season etc I walked away having seen someone I think can do a job for us. Seemed composed and created time for himself. He also demonstrated a range of passing that was missing from our midfield last year. I see him and Hollands starting against Bournemouth with Stephens being the further advanced of the two.
I just think you have been scarred by big mig, and finding it hard to Open up your heart again to any of the new cafc players.
You maybe right...it will take time to find another.Of course jason euell is an old flame of mine and maybe..just maybe.
Think Migs only on trial at Blackpool though. Having only seen Stephens for 45 minutes at Welling, I, unlike SirJohn, was not impressed at all, I felt he was the most disappointing player of that game.
Migs signed a year long contract I do believe... I may be wrong... Youga is at the club receiving treatment, and Christian Dailly is still working on his religious magazine.
I know I read on SkySports.com that Migs was set to join Blackpool yet there hasnt been anything on it since Definitely nothing on Wiki saying he's joined Blackpool at all
