Being through a marriage breakup myself even though it was me that wanted out, I know that your mind is not on the game. Perhaps a break from it all is best all around but fair play to him for carrying on

 

How sad for the guy having such gut wrenching personal problems so far away from his current base. I know all of us wish him the best.

 

Definately would have an affect, wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything, sad sad.... been there done it.

Fair play to stephen Pearson carrying on playing,makes sense why he is of his game at the moment.

Plenty of lovely Bristol girls out there to hear the bad news time is a great healer,hope you can get back to your best sooner rather than later.

 

Unfortunately i guess it was never going to end well with her wanting to remain in scotland and he went from livijg in Derby to living in Bristol though it is only an hour flight.

I had similar issues that at one point my marriage had arguments as my wife wanted to go back to Glasgow to live closer to her family which i would have done to stay with her luckily she had a change of heart and remained here and we are now stronger than ever but if she had moved and i didn i cant see how a marriage would last that far away.
Why it must be difficult for service men and women who are away for 6 months at a time.

All i can say is everything happens for a reason and the next love of his life could be round the corner
