Has anyone any real knowledge about the fitness and wellbeing of Stephen?

I might have missed something, but had understood that he was having recurring health problems as a result of his serious illness last year.

I haven't seen anything about it since and wondered if the shirt number he was allocated (way down the list at 37) was an indication that he might not figure this season for that reason.

I see a number of us on here are saying he could fill the Whitts role should Whitts be unavailable - can we be that sure?

I did read Sparkey that he was upset by the false rumours, and he is well, but not fully fit!

The report that i was nothing to do with cancer and it is a side effect of treatment for qa life long condition that leaves him wit dry eye and mouth and aching joints.

He handed the 10 jersey to Earnie as that was his previous number. He took the number 37 as that was his first number as a profesional. I'll look for the link and post it.

Here's the bit about the illness. Can't see the bit about the squad numbers.

Would help if I posted the link.
