    Taken from a Fulham blog

    http://www.cottagersconfidential.co...d-supposedly-tabled-and-malbranque-targetted?

Our continued pursuit of Swiss starlet Pajtim Kasami of Palermo is rumoured to have taken a new turn with Martin Jol making an official offer, following up from an initial enquiry while Steed Malbranque may make a return to SW6.

Kasami is said to be very open to a move to London, broadening his footballing horizons whilst leaving a side where he is currently failing to make an impact. The 19 year old may well be out of the side in Italy, but all parties are still aware of an abundance of talent in the international youngster and Fulham look set to pounce on the opportunity, with Palermo very willing to listen to offers.

Meanwhile, The People are reporting that Jol wants to reunite not only himself, but Fulham, with Sunderland midfielder Steed Malbranque. The Frenchman was something of a fan favourite over the Tigana years and, despite his declining age, our new manager still sees some useful attributes in the former Tottenham man. Any proposed fee should not be high, but Blackburn and QPR provide competition for his signature.

might be a bit early to let him go very good squad player and imo is still needed although he is the type of player we need to replace with better to reach to next level <bubbly>

I wouldnt let steed go as he provides good cover for both wings. If Larrson gets injured there is only really Elmo that can play there and at the moment i much prefer Steed over him. Plus, i still rate his work rate and quality on the ball. Just a shame he hasnt be able to last 90 mins for us.
