Rovers stats over the season so far:

Shots on target: 231 (4th highest)
Shots off target: 223 (7th highest)
    Corners: 214 (12th highest)
    Hit woodwork: 14 (The highest)
    Caught offside: 89 (12th highest)
    Opposition offside: 71 (20th highest)
    Fouls: 424 (10th highest)
    Yellows: 58 (16th highest)
    Reds: 5 (8th highest)
    Penalties awarded: 8 (3rd highest)
    Penalties scored: 6 (3rd highest)
    Penalties conceded: 3 (14th highest)

So we are creating a high amount of chances on and off target, also very unlucky hitting the woodwork more than any other team! We are not very good in using the offside trap on our opponents. We have wong a good number of pens (still less than half of what Barnet have won mind) and dont give away many pens which is good.

Here you can compare with other clubs!

    Great stats!

There doesn't seem to be much of a correlation between fouls conceded and bookings. Southport have had loads of bookings but seem to have conceded a lot less fouls than a lot of other sides with fewer bookings.

Grimsby seem to have had the most shots at goal and the most on target...

    Disciplinary records...

    Top foulers....

1: John Akinde (Barnet) with 91 fouls
2: Jon Parkin (FGR) and Brett Williams (Aldershot) both with 64 fouls
3: Richard Brodie (Southport) with 63 fouls
4: Ben Tomlinson (Lincoln) and Jake Moult (Altrincham) both with 61 fouls
    5: Lenell John-Lewis (Grimsby) with 60 fouls

Rovers highest fouler is surprisingly Matty Taylor with 45 fouls, less than half of Akinde's amount!!

This Brodie guy looks a beauty, I've just been checking him out on Southports Official Site, I suspect he may become Saturday's target for some banter !!

He is the leagues 4th highest fouler. He has received 9 yellows and 2 red cards!
He has been caught offside more than any other player in the league.
He is Southports top scorer with 12 goals (their next top scorer has just 4 goals).
Southport dont score much - just 44 goals and havent scored in in over 2 games.
However in the form table they are 7th and we are just ahead in 5th over the last 6 games.

Side note... I mentioned form table, Dover are 4th <yikes> and Barnet are top and Grimsby are 2nd http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/conference/2014-2015/form-table
