I'll be interested to see who NP starts in our next match, I think it would be massively unfair on McLean to drop him and put Waghorn straight in but unfortunately think that will be the case. Back in January I thought NP was harsh on Homer Jay to drop him after his run of form up top with Cameron Stewart and put McLean and Fryatt straight into the team.

I'd like to see a "perm any two of three" situation: say - McLean & Fryatt starting and Waghorn on the bench; the sub him for one of the starters (if nec.) in the second half.

If fit and healthy NP will start @ Peterboro with the same team. Waggy(that sounds great dont it) to replace Simpson ion the bench.

I disagree i want us to go back to the formation that did so well for us away from home last season for away games. Not many teams in this division play two up top away from home as it tends not to work, stick to the same team we played against Ipswich away annd Mclean and Fryatt up top at home.

Sorry, but Old Foghorn Leghorn will be straight into the sarting line-up.

If you look at Nige's previous, he tends to thrown his new signings straight in.

Next match is at Peterboro - so would expect Mclean would want to be involved going back to his old ground.

McLean will be busting a gut in that game. Hence why i said that NP will stay with the same team for this one.

Perhaps McLean will be at Peterborough on emergency loan by then and we'll have a Premier League striker in on emergency loan ;)

I would imagine Fryatt and Mclean, especially with it being Aarons old team, and surely 'Waggy' cant just walk straight into the starting 11 with barely any competitive match fitness. Although MF and MW do have 2 weeks off to reignite and blossom their partnership...

Reignite and blossom WHAT partnership exactly? According to Leicester posters on previous threads they hardly ever played together anyway.
Like other posters I would prefer 'Waggy' to start his Tiger life on the bench and as a 'glass half full' type I have every confidence that MF and MW WILL 'blossom' their partnership in the future.

I can see us going back to 4-5-1 for the away games as it's largely worked over the last 12 months. I guess it depends how Peterborough set up at home, if he plays 4-4-2 then he should stick with Mclean but 4-5-1 then it'll be Matty on his own up top.

I would have said that i expect Waggy to start with Matty but with it been Peterborough I think Mclean will start with Waggy on the bench
