No particular surprises in any of that I think plymborn. Think we have done quite well from our youth over last couple of years and no doubt some will make it into the big time. Young is an example of that and I think he will go on to greater things. At least we don't have to do fire selling now so if he is sold we should get full market value.

The last few years Argyle have brought on a better quality and quantity of players than I can remember for a long time. With all the changes going on I just hope the youth rpogram can keep going as it has done.

I thought Luke Young was the best player on the pitch yesterday by quite some way.... Did well on the left and improved the passing in the centre when he moved in there late on.

I saw a bloke coming out of one of the hospitality boxes yesterday. He had a pinstriped suit, bowler hat and rolled umbrella plus was eating a prawn sandwich with one hand and a pasty with the other. Was that you notdistant?<whistle>

He is a definate prospect in my book.

    Yes it was.

I saw a bloke coming out of the Lyndhurst stand who had a startling resemblance to Scrooge, fond of Victorian technology, seriously miserable and not a good word to say about anyone.

The first goal conceded was a deflected free kick which wasn't a free kick unless you are a referee. Right at the end, Soukouna [I think] took the ball off right off Tsoumou's foot 4 yards from goal and stopped an almost certain equaliser. The reason we lost it was probably the absence of 3 players: Purse and particularly Wotton & Walton from centre midfield, where Soukouna did a passable impression of a new-born colt, all legs and no means of controlling them. I thought Argyle deserved a point for their better play after a dire first half from both teams. You obviously watched a different game or aren't as hopelessly biased as I am.

The Quill is mightier than the pen even and nothing wrong with that. It was me notdistant I admit it but I always look like that even when I'm happy.

It was Feeney who took the ball of his toe and he was mightily livid at the time. Thought he was going to implode followed by explode. Soukouna is like Bambi on ice but we used to say that about Bolaise. If he only knew which direction he was going in it might help. I thought our midfield was generally poor and almost non-existant at times. Hourihan isn't good enough in my opinion. Only young I know but he hasn't got a clue when it comes to shooting and half his passes go astray. He hasn't improved all season long. Young on the other hand has got better. Not the finished product by a long way but if he carries on developing he will go far in the game and I don't mean a transfer to Carlisle. It was a bit end of term with clearly a bit of experimenting going on by Fletcher. They were thinking of the play offs. I have seen worse games though for sure.

Feeney not Soukouna, I stand corrected. After watching the latter adopting "random walk" tactics to confuse the opposition [and everyone else] throughout the first half, I suppose i was ready to blame Soukouna for anything and everything.

It's not as if they look alike is it? Soukouna has hair.
