Tough one ! The whole team played ' proper' football, AND showed far greater commitment and intensity than in several games this season. We were much more effective with players closer to the main 'target' man- and as a result we had much more meaningful possession........ This didn't always work - but was a breath of fresh air compared with the 'hoof' style so prevalent thus far........ more please. ... so - with no detriment to any player not mentioned, my 1,2,3 are 1. Robertson - a dynamic performance 2. Dempsey - a dynamic performance 3. Akinde - a dynamic performance 4. Evans - used dynamic tactics to maximise our 37% possession 5. The man behind Bonham's goal -- he was the only member of the Rochdale staff who seemed 'interested'- he chased the ball ( when it went out of play ), with greater urgency than the players. .
