This is a tough one to choose a top 3 considering there wasn't much action in this game and I wasn't at the game however this is what I think is top 3 from what I have heard about the game. 1. Egan- From what I have seen so far he will make a great leader. It is brilliant to see him with the captains armband at 21 years old as he plays beyond his years and is such a great signing. Sounds like he played well yesterday and organised the defence. 2. Hessenthaler- He has been brilliant this season and sounded like he had a decent game organising the midfield with Morris. I really like the look of midfield this season as it seems more settled just like the defence as now they are gelling we are conceding a lot less goals and I feel the team is strong at the back and in midfield which is why we are letting less in however it is important we start to create a bit more which I think will come with Loft coming back into the team soon. 3. Bywater- Sounds like he made a few saves but other than that it wasn't the hardest game for him.
1 Hessenthaler - the creative midfield didn't really do much, but the defensive / destructive part, thankfully, made a huge contribution to the lack of any goals conceded. 2 Bywater - what did get through was competently dealt with. One minor mix up with Egan (I think) in the first half, but other than that a very solid performance. 3 Martin - did his best to get forward without neglecting his defensive duties. Arguably our most creative player on the day.
1. Bywater - had more possession than anyne else in the team!!! 2. Morris - looked solid in the midfield alongside Hessy Jnr. 3. Norris - again like Coventry we created jack going forward until he came on, it is simply time to give him a start.
