Which do you prefer to do at football matches. Recent petition which Parliament is to debate on the 25/06/2018 about modern day standing at football matches.

    Stand Up For Choice results:

    • Nearly half (47%) of all fans said they would attend more games if licensed standing was available
    • 69% of fans said they would prefer to stand, compared to less than a quarter (22%) who said seating
    • 94% of Championship supporters and 92% of League One and League Two supporters all back choice between standing and seating.
For me I prefer standing. Some on here may prefer sitting because they can rest their prawn sandwiches on their laps but which and why?

    Not arsed either way.
I stand at away games and sit at home games so am comfortable doing either.

You have to forgive Trev, he keeps forgetting that he's already done this one over and over.
It's the same when he forgets to bring the Headline Games to a conclusion.
    I think it's called senility.....<ok>

I'd prefer to stand, but, I normally need to sit by the time I get up the bloody steps.

Sitting for me. Unless they could have standing like it used to be. Those individual cages they have for safe standing are crap.

When we were last in the Championship we played Peterborough away twice, once in the league and once in the cup, and we were packed in on their terraces. It's an outdated, ****ty experience, getting buffeted around and not getting a good view (and the smell! Dear me!). Nostalgia is over-rated.

Safe standing for those who want to stand, and seating for everyone else. If I get another season ticket I think I will fork out the extra for a bit of refinement in one of the bar areas.

Standing all day. 7 days of the week. 24hrs of the day. I don’t care what anyone says you can’t recreate the camaraderie and craic sitting. There is something special about it. I moved from the Gallowgate to the Milburn Paddocks to cling on to it as long as possible cause the lads I stood with, I only knew a few of their names, all immediately said wherever we can stand. I watched my best ever game standing against Sheff Wed of all clubs. I loved Barca and Man U but those night games standing in the pissing rain were the best. You didn’t give a ****.

Standing. Used to stand in the gallowgate under the scoreboard back in the 80's. ****in incredible experience, it's like the whole end we're as one.

I stand when I go to Spennymoor matches. It's great to have the freedom to go ****in mental when a goal goes in. It's such a shame with the possibility of promotion they had to put seating behind one of the goals. ****in horrible experience, but not as bad as sitting at the back of level 7.

Depends on a number of factors. At your age, you should be careful making rash statements.

God I went to see the Prodigy once and had to sit up high on the terrace. It was torture. I nearly threw myself off into the mosh pit below.
