    Great news, sounds like me and the mrs are gonna get wet this winter though. Roof to be removed in stages, do us a favour start down by 113 and get to our end some time around the end of May...

    I was talking to someone who runs coaches and was at the travel meeting. Think the roof is coming off in March.

    They want it ready for the Super Cup Final.

    Good stuff.

    The design shown will go some way to taking away some of the criticism of the stadium being a characterless bowl.

    Now if they can take the roof out a couple of yards more than present there will be the added bonus of Row G not getting so wet.

    Yep - a bit more of a soul than a soulless bowl ;)

    They'll have to extend the roof to match the previous amount of coverage due to the height increase as opposed to the angle of attack of the rain, if it's a big bugger of a roof it could sort it all out- hopefully.
