Some of you may have seen that several people were stabbed outside the Dojo lounge in Park Row, Bristol on Saturday night, these lads were very close friends of my son Jack who was with them up to an hour earlier, his close friend Dan was stabbed in the neck from behind whilst leading his friends girlfriend away from the trouble. He wasn't involved in any fighting and is now in intensive care unable to feel down the left hand side of his body. Dan is a self employed lad who has a young baby to support. I am posting a Just Giving page for Dan and anyone who wishes to support him it would be greatly appreciated. All these lads are very much Reds too..
That's dreadful. Hope that he recovers soon. I saw with some interest that Germany are considering restarting compulsory National Service, and cant help but think that this would be an excellent idea here for 17-20 year olds. Give them some responsibility and teach them a little respect, whilst taking out their aggression on each other in a controlled manner.
