Every time I stick SSN in it's always got Brian Swanson interviewing someone about the Rangers situation. This carries on for much longer and I'm going to throw my TV through my patio doors in a fit of rage. That'll show 'em. Rant over.
Someone's tired You're lucky you get to watch Sky Sports News, whenever I get home it's ****ing Spongebob Squarepants or BabyTV...which is weird cos I haven't got kids!
Now you know how we feel when there's some boring story happening in England. The whole of January it was all about Tevez, "will he or won't he?". Who gives a **** This summer it'll be all about England at the Euro's. "Breaking news just in, Rio Ferdinand has just had a bowl of cornflakes for his breakfast!!" "Interesting stuff there from Nick Collins, we'll be back to him at 1pm to find out what Rio had for lunch"
Don't be stupid, they won't wait til 1pm, they'll be back half an hour later to find out whether he went back for seconds or moved onto toast and whether he had butter or marg on it. EDIT: On the main subject, it's fairly relevent to English football since the bigger issue Rangers have with HMRC (ie the £50M plus interest one rather than the £7M from last season one) is one that's also got at least 8 current or former Premier League clubs under investigation for the same thing.
I've not commented on the relevance. Just the boringness( probably not even a word) of it all. Oh hang on SSN now have Ian Dowie commenting on what Arsenal did wrong last night. For crying out loud!!!! If it wasn't for Charlotte Jackson my telly would now be lying in bits on my lawn, the wind and rain howling through my living room. Bits of broken glass strewn all over the place. Kids crying. Yes I am tired.
I think boringness is a word. If it wasn't though you could just do a Dowie and use it so that it becomes well known and then becomes an official real word.
Good point. If a story has the potential to be boring it now has boringnessability. Swanson's back on, saying the same he did fifteen minutes ago. Cameron's sticking his oar in now.
I can't find a screwdriver. The remote at next doors cat will have to do. Either that or I'll just poison it.
Salmond has upset Celtic now as well. He's said that HMRC are right to go after the tax, but should try to work with the club because of how important they are to Scotland/Scottish football and how Celtic couldn't prosper without Rangers. I know he's talking about the symbiotic relationship where without the big rivalry all the TV deals and things fall through the floor, but it's not the best way to say it.
If or when Scotland get through to anything of note most of us won't mind if they get a bit of attention. It'd be worth it for the novelty value. I don't agree with devolution for Scotland, I'd rather keep the bits of it I've bought and paid for over the years than subject the poor natives to generations of hard work trying to pay back the money they owe us.
Sorry mate I just assumed you had separate coverage during major tournaments. One Sky team following the England squad and one following the Scotla.....oh hang on. Now awaits comments about how **** England's record at major tournaments is.
can't blame the presenters for pouncing on the slightest bit of 'breaking news' or outside broadcast, they must PRAY for it cause otherwise it's a 30 minute loop of same old same old. i use it as a cure for insomnia but thank goodness the divine natalie sawyer doesn't do the late shift or sleep wouldn't be a consideration at all! the boy matterface is defining the phrase 'punch above your weight'.
