Good signing I reckon. Has performed well in the Championship before and Preston might have had half a chance of staying up had he not been injured and is also a proven performer at International level. Also good mates with Gally which might have swayed him. Crucially, he's also good with the ball aswell which will help him fit in with Sven's style of football.
From what the Preston fans are saying is he is a very good centre half if you can get his head right. Since his loan to McBoro where they was going to pay 4.5M he hasnt been the same player. Hopefully Matt Mills, Ben Mee and Miguel Vitor all sign and that would be the defence sorted
This is the thing, SStL isn't going to be enough imo. I hope Sven can get the best out of him. I can give him the benefit of the doubt, i mean, when Leicester went down, we had one of the best defences in the league, with Kisnorbo playing almost all season, we just couldn't score at the other end.
