Today is July the 1st........the new season starts here....and it sounds that we will have a signing today....marvelous Marvin says so on his twitter account that he is signing for a new club today. We might also know where we stand with Bhasera....assuming that he has got the decency to say yes or no.
Marvelous Mediocre Masterly ....time will tell. 6ft 4, 45 goals in 102 games for Aldershot and 48 in 112 for Shrewbury so could be worse.
It'll be nice to get some real height up front for a change.....how would he work with Reid......maybe working off a target man would open the door for Reuben to find the net more often......Reid did say that he was playing the role Sheridan had told him to do....so maybe feeding off a targetman might be his job this season.
Surprise surprise PAFC announce the signing of Marvin Morgan 30yr old Striker released by Shrewsbury last season. John Sheridan has offered him a two year deal and seems to be pleased that he has come to Argyle and feels that he gives us another option and will score goals for us. Morgan it is said turned down offers from teams higher in the league to join Argyle.

I am suffering an attack of the curmudgeons Sensible, caused by associating with you and Plymborn over a period of years. You on the other hand seem to full of the joys of spring (or pre-season as we call it). Sap must be on the rise........
That's not sap notdistant it's wet rot I think. Either that or I've sprung a leak. The one thing I will say is that at least we are actually signing players in positions we need to sign players. We have lacked a battering ram for this league and now we have one. That's what this league is all about and nothing to do with pretty stuff. We always seemed to be dwarfed by the opposition and some sides are like the Land of the Giants come to town. I am at least optimistic that this season won't be a struggle to survive. That's almost as good as promotion in Argyle terms lately.
well done argyle, you may have hit the jackpot with marvin-our marv. morgan. he is tall and work hard, he will play is socks off for you. he assists and scores, but not prolifically for town. he is a great league 1 striker. good luck.
