Since the arrival of Mr.Ashley we would appear ,(including the sale of Andy Carroll whom I have include at £35 million),
to have made a NET profit of £59 million on transfers.............

If the Glaziers said to Sir Alec.,you have to sell Vidic (£12 million),Evra(£10 million)Scholes and Giggs(£3 million each)
Ferdinand(£10 million)Carrick (£10 million)Park Ji Sung (£5 million)..............etc.etc and only use juniors or championship class
players instead, where would this leave Man.Utd.Not top of the league !!!!!

If you rip out the heart of a squad, don,t be surprised if it is left gasping for air

Before I get an irate reply from Man.Utd supporters,I,ve only used the above players as an example of what could
    happen

To be fair (begrudgingly) to Mike he's only really sold players that really didn't want to be here. I include Carroll in that at the moment until the full details in the forthcoming autobiography 'Pardew: Portrait of a Patsy' (available in all good bookshops) is released.

The grating aspect of these sales though is the lack of re-investment back into the squad.
