Squad for Pre-Season

Well, for the first time in years, it seems like our management team want to get the squad together for pre-season, rather than adding to it right at the end. We have signed a youngster, no one knows a lot about him, hopefully he will be a great addition and if other rumours are to be believed, then we are close to others, who? Could be any one of about 20 players.

I still highly doubt the signings of Gameiro and Gervinho, they are quality players and they are players we should be looking at, but many other clubs will be also, and I just can't stomach that Pardew can persuade someone. I still stand by my claim that I will chop off my penis if Gervinho signs.

Hopefully though, we can get our squad together for pre-season, have a good pre-season and get raring to go for a successful season in the PL.

 

Aye, Pardew doesn't come over as the convincing type does he. I'm also downbeat about Gervinho and Gameiro actually signing, I'd love them to obviously, but I think we may be doing this to state our intentions, and then go after slightly more realistic targets.

Will gladly be proven wrong though!

It's good to see (well; you know...) some early intent at last to get a squad ready for pre-season.

I reckon it's based on the fact that most people will be based in the US this summer for the pre-season tour so all acquisitions are being done as early as possible to ensure they are all in place by then as anyone coming to the training ground to see the squad and set up will see the reserves only.

 

I love the transfer window, so much **** gets spouted, it's brilliant!

 

I really hope we get him now, even if he turns out to be ****e. Badger, would you be prepared to extend your gamble to getting a shirt printed saying 'GERVINHO MADE ME CHOP OFF MY PENIS' on the back?

Aye one signing already is good news. TBH even if we dont sign Gamiro or Gervinho i'm happy because at least it's showing Pardew has the right mind set and wants to get the club to where we all want to be, in Europe and i think if we pull a couple of good signings of this season we will be challenging

 

Yeah at least, if true, he's trying to sign the right kind of players. Even if he can't pull the deals off, at least he gave it a bloody good go.

It's going to be somewhere smack bang in the middle of an exciting and frustrating transfer window.
