I don't know if anyone else watches man vs food but even if you don't this is worth a watch. The presenter Adam Richman is a die hard spurs fan and whilst in England spurs invited him to a tour round WHL. It's great to see someone so passionate about spurs from across the pond! Adam Richman is such a legend. shall we try and get him to join not606?! he seems to respond best to people saying "adam adam adam adam adam adam adam" loads of times! if any of you have seen much of the show, I'm sure you know what I'm on about. it's so irritating!!
one of my mates went to san fransicso about a year ago and popped into one of the restaurants adam visited for the show. He attempted the 7lb burrito challenge. - some of you may have seen that episode. It's an insane amount of food. that comes out in a square white dish, covered in 4 different cheeses. I wasn't on the holiday, but apparently he finished it. Well, for about an hour, before the projectile vomitting commenced after a battle with a food coma!
I posted it in the Bill Nick Arms at the time! *pouts* The bit that gets me is how he sounds surprised that Dempsey is playing for us. So much for the added exposure in the US he was getting us if one of our Stateside fans was unaware he signed for us three months before.
Hey, that'll be me in three weeks! Well, maybe minus a few pounds and plus a couple of inches... I also plan to go with the Spurs baseball cap and training jacket...
