So far so good. Signs of frustration for Spurs toward the end of the half. I'd love to see Barrow come on second half as an outlet with Paloschi.
Based on the first half we would do extremely well to keep them out for the next 45. But if we can snatch another goal it will hopefully take it out off the spurs players. Definitely see us needing another goal to win it though.
Fabulouski and Paloscorechi .... We need some width second half to shake things up . Spurs need to get AT least 2 goals to take all the points and With Paloschi's counter attack threat , they may need more .
I think we'll keep it going with the same personnel - possibly bring Rangel off because of the yellow. I'm not convinced that's the best option because it seems like a matter of time before Spurs score. I'd bring Barrow on and give them something to worry about, with a brief to get back and help defend if necessary, which he does well anyway. That would wrong-foot Spurs imo as they won't be expecting it. I'd be surprised if it happens as Guidolin seems very conservative.
Need to improve next half. I can't see us keeping a clean sheet if we consistently allow them the chances we already have. Need to close down quicker and get in their faces a bit more.
We have nothing to lose as its expected that Spurs will score second half so let's bring Barrow on and have a crack at them. His pace provides an outlet and prevents them from bombing forward. I expect to see the same subs though, Naughton for Rangel and Amat later.
Wow Man United are 2-1 up against Arsenal and that Rashford kid has got both goals ! That's 4 goals in his first 2 matches !! What a dream start for him.
Did any of you just see the 'Average Formation' chart they just put up ? Spurs are basically overloading the left midfield going forward.
