Do any of the mods think we should keep our own match thread? Otherwise there could be a split, with some debating on here, and the others on THFC6061's thread.
Spurs pair set to return Pienaar could start and Gallas possible substitute By Matthew Skinns. Last Updated: October 26, 2011 4:17pm South Africa midfielder Pienaar underwent groin surgery in the summer and French defender Gallas has been battling calf injuries, resulting in them both missing the start of the season. But Allen is hopeful the players will be available for selection as Spurs will look to extend their unbeaten run to seven games against Rangers on the back of a 2-1 victory over Blackburn. "We're pretty much as we were at the weekend," Allen told London24.com. "There's one or two players coming back who are joining in. "Steven Pienaar and William Gallas are back in training, which is good, so we'll hopefully have one or two more to select from on Sunday. "I don't know if William will play but he could well be involved, he may make the bench. It just depends on the reaction to his training this week." iReader http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7267302/Spurs-pair-set-to-return
Spurs camp full of confidence Use your <- -> (arrow) keys to browse more stories Rafael Van der Vaart claims confidence is currently at an all-time high within the Tottenham Hotspur camp. Spurs are currently enjoying a fantastic run of form, winning five out of six in the Barclays Premier League to go with the Dutchman's personal goal tally of five goals in four games. His latest efforts, a double in the 2-1 win at Ewood Park against Blackburn, helped the side bounce back from a 2-2 draw against Newcastle, and Van der Vaart admits the disappointing result at St James' Park spurred the team on to victory next time out. "Last week we drew at Newcastle, everyone was disappointed and that means everything, it says a lot about the team," Van der Vaart told the official Spurs website. "We’re so confident at the moment, we know we can win every game, especially when we play our game and play good football. It was important to win at Blackburn. I don’t think we played our best game but we won and that’s what matters. We have five wins and a draw (in the last six matches) and as I said, we have a lot of confidence. "It’s always tough at Blackburn but we managed to win and we’re up to fifth, so that’s great." Harry Redknapp's side are now knocking on the door of the Champions League qualification places, and face QPR on Sunday looking to overhaul Newcastle United in fourth place. iReader http://www.givemefootball.com/premier-league/spurs-camp-full-of-confidence
Tiger Feet 3 QPR in the Community Trust’s last two sponsored walk events have been a great success. Our first Tiger Feet walk was to Crystal Palace and last year it was a very memorable visit to Watford. This season “Tiger Feet 3” will be a sponsored walk to Tottenham Hotspur for the match on 30th October 2011. This annual event raises money for the QPR Tiger Cubs. Set up in 2009 the Tiger Cubs is a football team for children and young people with Downs Syndrome. The Tiger Cubs are run in partnership with the Downs Syndrome Association and provides children and young people with DS the same opportunities of being part of a team as their able bodied peers. The money raised allows us to offer additional activities to the weekly football sessions including golf and tennis. The grand total raised from the Walk to Watford was £9,112.06 and our aim this year is to reach the £10,000 mark. The Tiger Cubs were nationally recognized winning the 2010 Football League Award for best disability community project. There are a couple of ways in which you can support this fundraiser. Ensiluokkainen, I know you have a problem with cross board threads, but they don't have to be bad do they? If you all want to stick with the other thread, no problem.
We quite like our statman THFC6061's articles on the games, perhaps a mod could add the QPR board to that thread, I can't see it turning into an argument with the QPR fan(s). Anyway whilst we're here, how are you guys doing for injuries? We've got Gallas, Dawson, King, Corluka, Huddlestone and Krancjar our at the moment. I think Sandro is back and as one of the articles you posted said, Pienaar will be available again too.
Here's a bit for you mate, it should be the same team as Sunday with Traore for Clint Hill, let's face it you should win! ============================ @QPRTimes George Ian Cooper #QPR Danny Gabbidon is once again a doubt for the weekend, the centre-back is rated as '60-40' against making the #spurs game
Well I hope this cross board thread doesn't go the way of so many I look forward to some good banter, and a great game.
Is Gabbidon being injured a good or bad thing for you guys? I'll be disappointed if we don't win. You've done well so far but I still don't feel like you guys have settled into the league yet, although we do have a poor record against newly promoted teams.
It will give us a chance to have a look at Bassong and Pavlyuchenko who are understandably very keen to join the QPR revolution.
''We don't like cross board threads, blubber blubber blubber, we like thfc6061s threads blubber blubber blubber.'' Get a life you frigging saddo. FFs, you sound like a fatty deciding whether to have a doughnut or a piece of cake but feel guilty because your such a fat *unt.
Nope, I much prefer THFC6061's threads, because he gets all the stats himself and puts effort into it. No offence, but the first post on here is just copied from the BBC, and most people have probably read already.
