All grujic knows is how to run forward. He's had it easy in his career so give him time to be trained by klopp. He's got to be able to do a lot more than what he's shown even if what he has shown is goal ability.

My fear is that referee are going to target Mane and make him a bad boy because of jealousy.

I don't think we could blame the refs. He is a great talent but he is trying too hard and if he carries on fouling and jumping into rash tackles he'll be sent off sooner rather later.

Never noticed it in his Southampton days, could be he is just trying too hard. If he is desperate to impress and has been told to close down quickly it is easy to mistime things at first.

Couldn't give less of a **** tbh. Shows that he cares, something we've lacked for a while; since Suarez to be precise!

    all.

as in every single LFC preseason game. He's good but he is raw.

theres a lot of training for him to get the patterns and why he needs to go do them. He's been over in his home league absolutely smashing them up and winning it by miles and miles. this is a big step up tactically so lets give him time and not be shocked if that happens... or worse he doesn't smash it first game,

Came across this while browsing Sky Sports tonight, it may clear things up for you :emoticon-0100-smile

Does the referee have to give a penalty in each case?
As Liverpool found out to their detriment, Law 12 can only be applied when the ball is in play. Vertonghen's clash with Matip came moments before Jordan Henderson took Liverpool's corner and put the ball into play. As a result, referee Robert Madley was able to warn both players without awarding a penalty.
Referees have been encouraged to speak with players before the set-piece is taken to try to avoid the situation occurring. However, once the ball is in play, they are required to award a penalty should such an incident take place.

But when the ball was struck was Vertonghen still hanging off Matip?

And what's the Ref doing warning Matip? He's watching the ball and trying to make a run, not fouling anyone <laugh>

Nope, Matip was on the floor before the ref even indicated the kick could be taken. He warned Matip because he was involved in a wrestling match, that is why no cards were handed out :emoticon-0100-smile

To be honest there were two players literally wrestling behind Verts and Matip, if Matip hadn't been thrown to the ground before the ball was kicked you would probably have got a penalty from the other incident.

That ref wasn't great, the 1st half everything seemed to go against us. 2nd half the Spurs fans were applauding (ironically) when being
    given free kicks

Ref's are never great when things go against our teams, the truth is they **** up just as much for all teams.
I miss my youth when we didn't have slow motion replays from 40 different angles, back then we just said "ref said no" and accepted it as right :emoticon-0100-smile
