They will recoup most of that back from the sale of Bale though. No way Levy would have allowed spending of that magnitude otherwise.
Still seems crazy spending when you only get 30k a week. You can't sell a Bale every year. You have to pay the wages for more than one season. It is unsustainable spending for a club not in CL
