I don't like them. I thought they weren't the side they were a few years ago.

But to score four goals against a very tidy Italy side... Spain are ****ing class.

    Deserved.

Aye they were worthy winners alright. Shame Italy lost two defenders which may have given us a more competitive game but the Spanish will be force for a long time yet.

So Spain won, maybe now they can sell the trophy and then they might still be able to keep the Euro.

What a privilege to have been involved in.

Dull all tournament, wonderful tonight, and I feel honoured to have been in the fountains/bars/generally just enjoying it with them.

Despite Italian heritage, I sponged every second of this, and what a wonderful night.

Viva Espana (from a massively proud Englishman abroad)

The odd one on here who's a Facey friend, enjoy the pics!

They are awesome. Thing is, when they don't have the ball they work really hard to get it back. See how quickly they shut the Italian ball carrier down? Phenomenal...

So was Bruce ahead of the time playing 4-6-0 now Spain are playing it??

Maybe he is a brilliant manager after all....just ddnt have the players <whistle>

I think this season Torres will be firing on all cylinders. He seems confident, has one FA Cup, Champ League & Euro 2012...

He took his goal with class & also unselfishly set Mata up.

Wonder what odds you get on him being top scorer.

I was one of those who thought Spain were boring like Swansea, 'passive possession/passing' but last night they had obviously taken on board all the criticism that was coming their way and they were just awesome. I am old enough to remember Brazil in 1970 and that is who they are now being compared/contrasted with and it is fair to do so. Fartgas for instance was incredible and that full back or was it an attacking winger, words do not do what they did last night justice. I have seen the future and never mind Sunderland, England are light years behind them
