South Africa are currently going a long at 8 an over early on in their innings.

Can they set a record high total or will a few wickets slow them down?

I wouldn't back the Zimbabwe batsmen to chase down 77, so the match is effectively already over.

Actually rather poor use of the bowling powerplay by Sri Lanka, but now they're at 90 for 0 with the small matter of Sangakkara, Jayawardene and Angelo Matthews still to come. Right now SL may well be looking at 380 or even more!

They were at around 8 an over before the powerplay, now they are at just over 6 an over. Hmmm.

Well, the rule is you double your 30 over score (166) and that's what you should get upon completion of the innings. In that case Sri Lanka are looking at 332, which seems rather low considering how far have they come with all wickets in tact. If Sri Lanka don't get a very, very imposing total then it will probably be because of failing to utilise wickets in hand. What they need now is a Ross Taylor!

Dilshan started so quickly, now he's going at a pedestrian pace, which is a shame because this Zimbabwean team doesn't look like breaking this partnership at all, so he'd of had a chance for the double hundred!

I expect that Sri Lanka will start to hit big shots again pretty soon, be surprised if they don't. The only team who ever seem happy just to **** about and score the odd single when they could be on for a big total are England.

It will be a real shame if Jayawardene doesn't get a bat, but it is looking highly unlikely. Zimbabwe looking clueless, all they need is the death overs bowling of Pakistan, Kamran Akmal keeping wicket and Bangladesh to bat for them and they could be the worst team in the world.

And they've slowed down again. You've got 10 wickets in hand with just 11 overs left and you're not playing shots, WTF!

Promising start to Zimbabwe's innings but now they are starting to collapse.
